American health care

We can assume that the standard of health care is acceptable in those countries where people live much the way Americans live do, and where they tend to live even longer than Americans do. Consider the European countries for example. In those countries  people spend about half as much as they do in the United States.  That overspending is about $2,500 per person which is about $750 billion per year.

So, are Americans getting  better health care than Europeans? Or are Americans just wasting at least $750 Billion a year?
